I am a tenure-track assistant professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University.
Previously, I held postdoc positions at the University of Copenhagen, the University of Oslo, Brown University (supported by Croucher Fellowship for Postdoctoral Research), and the University of Bern.
I received my Ph.D. from the Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization (ACO) program at Georgia Tech (my home department was Mathematics), advised by Prof. Matthew Baker. I received my B.Sc. in Mathematics (First Class Honor) and B.Eng. in Information Engineering (First Class Honor) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2012.
My research interests are in combinatorics, tropical geometry, and their connections with other subjects. See my Papers and Events pages for more information.
